Paperback Verified download. It may be that mathematicians and statisticians have very differing opinions on what is concise. But as a mathematician wanting a compact text on statistics, this was very far from the mark.

The book is well written and rich in examples, and has long sections on how to program a particular type of calculator for doing statistical calculations. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a long text with lots of detail, but it is not concise.

From page 1 the book outlines the basics and builds on the rest of the subject matter. Lots of examples and excercises.

Anyone is interested in learning Statistics Great text! This book has it all, it is a crash course for anyone who ever wanted to know the basics of statistics, everyone in my school uses it, "A Consice Couse" to get an "A".
